Watched the 2nd quater against the dockers last night (takes some time to get through these games now with all the analysis and download time) and unfortunately walker delivered two absolute shockers. Ive been in his corner a fair bit, and Im not leaving, but I am acknowledging that he may need some assistance.

Having said that in the sapce of the five minutes he did this so did Betts and Dod. Betts was short to Bentick and Dod was delivered directly to a blues bloke in the Back Pocket.

Walkers were equally appaling. One was short to Fev(?) on the wing the other was to no-one in particular in the guts. I feel that BOTH were a weight issue, he is having trouble delivering the required distance, angle, weight and float. He may need contact lenses, however what he deperately needs is practice delivering to players on the run both himself and the player at pace. He needs to paractice with players running toward him and away from him and on each of the angles.

His delivery is constantly falling short of approaching players and obviously over their heads as well. Hitting a bloke on the chest at pace must be fundamental stuff.

Is there anyone on here who can provide some genuine insight into this (the left hand right foot conundrum may well be there) or can anyone suggest some skills training that may be worth while for foot delivery overall.

We can email the list.

Maybe we can start with tieing laces and getting the chewy off our boots.
