In the fifth era of Man, Tamriel has undergone modernisation with the rise of industrialism and modern nation-states, and the declining influence of magic and the old conflicts that defined the northern continent in eras past. Amidst this backdrop, professional sports have emerged in the last century and football in particular has become Tamriel's favourite pasttime. With a higher standard of living than ever before, and with new technology like the tele-courier, millions across the continent follow the various professional leagues and thousands of the best athletes vye for the lucrative contracts on offer.

Tamriel's northernmost and coldest country, Skyrim, is considered the birth place of modern football with the game first being codified in Helgen and the first major leagues based around Whiterun. Today, the Skyrim Premier League (SPL) is ranked amongst the best leagues in Tamriel, rivalling the League of Cyrodiil for relevancy and boasting an uninterrupted history stretching back 84 years. Long known for its hard-nosed, rough style of play - emphasising physicality over technical ability - the influx of foreign players and coaches to the league in recent years have introduced new ideas and styles to the game which has contributed to the SPL's popularity across the world.

Historically dominated by clubs in Whiterun and Eastmarch Hold, the SPL currently contains 16 clubs from across Skyrim and at least one team from each of the nine holds, as well as a team representing the autonomous territory of Solstheim. While most clubs are now privately owned, many retain deep links to the culture and history of their respective regions and remain a source of community and pride for Skyrim residents. The hardy and challenging lifestyle traditionally experienced in Skyrim is reflected in the dull tones of many club crests and kits.

Notes
I have used the in-game symbols from TES V: Skyrim as the basis of my logos. Some club logos have been heavily inspired by real life counterparts, but with the exception of the Skyrim symbols all elements in the crests have been created by myself.

All kit sponsors are based on Skyrim businesses; where applicable, I've used stock images to create contemporary logos for them.

I use the SS'09 kit template for these, which are largely based on real kits used from 2009 to 2021.

I'm still pretty new to logos in particular so any advice is welcome!

Markarth has a long history of enmity and feuding between the native Reachmen and the ruling Nords, and although the violence has died down in recent times, friction still exists in the Reach capital. Due to large-scale infrastructure projects, Markarth is no longer as isolated as it once was but mining continues to dominate the economic landscape of the city. FC Markarth is actually a spin-off of the original Markarth FC; in one of the SPL's major scandals, many Reachmen playing for the original side left and formed a new club due to racial discrimination by the Nord hierarchy. Reach United have played in the top flight of High Rock for the past 32 years.

Although frequently known as the Silverbloods due to the massive silver mines in the area, FC Markarth's official moniker is the Rams, with vast sheep herds across the Reach. However, there have been calls from within and without to make an official change and drop the Rams moniker altogether, as Reach United, the city's Reachmen team, also refers to themselves as the Rams and the trade has always been dominated by Reachmen shepherds.

FC Markarth's logo includes the green and white stripes the club is synonymous with, as well as the city symbol, the ram. The logo is largely the same as the original Markarth FC, but with silver instead of maroon

The Rams have won dark green and white stripes since inception, although a new singular silver pinstripe running down the centre is a new invention. FC Markarth also plays away games in a silver kit, with a dark green and white horizontal stripe. The team is sponsored by Arnleif & Sons.
Is this club run by the Silver-Bloods?
Do the forsworn support them or disavow them?

It’s heavily funded by mining still, but let’s say Silverblood is a company now (this is meant to be like half a century after the events of Skyrim).

And the Reachmen decided to start their own club and play in High Rock.
