Loving the dual magic with the destruction perks. Wish I knew how good it was a the start.

Just like Oblivion, I went for the thief/ assaisain style with a Wood elf at the start but as I have levelled I'm spending all my skill points elsewhere!
For most hard enemies I have found the combination of sneaking a shot in with arrow with a weakness to fire, followed up with a dual flame spell works a treat.

Almost considering making a 'star wars emperor' character and dress him up in a dark robe and run around using dual spark!

Anyone done the mage quests yet?

I went straight there from the start of the game pretty much and I am stuck in the Staff of Magnus quest. Have to focus some ocular thingmybob using frost and fire spells and the shit just aint happnin. Investigoogled this and a few others seem to have had similar problems.. could be a bug although somebody said they tried reloading their save and it worked.

Anyone else experienced this?

I've got the 360 version and I've had 3 lock up crashes so far. First one was while I was running from the dragon in the opening sequences..
Well I'm just about there now, Thanks for the heads up so if it ain't working, Could be bug with the game.
With crashes, I've only had one and it was just before. Died and was restarting but it was just stuck on the loading screen for about 3 mins.....

Just had my second total freeze up during the game, this time it was when I was going after the synods(sp?) also had my third dragon encounter but he flew away :(...

Edit: and now my third freeze up both within 2-3 mins of each other..... Using 360 btw.

Possibly to do with how much space you have used up on your 360? Maybe have a clean out of old stuff/what you dont want, it could work a bit better.

Don't hold me to that though :p

Nah my 360 has plenty of space left, only have a few installed games, hasnt frozen up since my last post but what I will say is that labirynthian is a bitch!

Apparently not. I also found out about the shouts running out. It was sad. I thought they would be unlimited, but thinking about it, it makes sense why they aren't.

Aren't the Dragons unlimited anyway? So in theory we shouldn't have too many problems acquiring souls?

Got this today and got to level 6. I either want to stick to Magic or using a 2 handed weapon. I really wanna use magic but to me it seems really weak at my current level. I tried using it to take out a dragon and failed massively but on the second go I took it out easy with a two handed weapon.

I think I may start leveling up my magic perks to make it stronger now.

I don't like picking magic and two handed combat for a character. I feel like it's a waste since you can only use one at a time.

I think I'm going to end up having 3 characters;

1. Magic
2. Bow/Dual Wield
3. Two hand/One hand and shield

and then alternate depending on what kind of combat I feel like playing.

Just arrived in Falkreath for the first time. Two Dragons flying about. Took one down then accidentally hit a guard with a swing of my sword, they all turned on me for a measly 40 bounty whilst a dragon is raining fire upon them. I eventually died :(

Been playing this for last two days. Jb sale wasn't applied to the pc version but EB managed to price match it anyway so got it at sale price.

I've been doing mostly quests around the winterhold region. Haven't ventured too far yet. Haven't come across a dragon other than the one you kill at the watch tower. How do you find them?

I haven't frozen yet which is pretty good as I'm level 22 with about 30 hours done on PS3.

Looking up glitches and bugs for this game and there is a few found already. Bethesda will want to patch this quickly. I stopped playing Fallout New Vegas for like 8 months because of issues.

the only bug I have come across is when the screen started flashing bright blue...I saved and reloaded the game and had no more dramas

Dragon appearances are completely random. I've fought a couple in my first 10 hours, others may not see one until 20 hours into the game

This annoys me. I have done it a couple of times as well, accidently hitting a guard, or whoever is helping you on a quest, and then they attack you.
Does anyone know if there is a yield button like there was in Oblivion? If there is, I can't seem to find it.

If your bounty is under 3000 gold you can just sheathe your weapon and the guards will give you the choice to pay your bounty, go to jail or to resist.
