It appers that all the wraps on Rutten have been unfounded as he has been left out of the squad.

I was dissapointed Schuback has also gone.

From AFC.com

"Reilly remained in the Crows’ 24 to play Port after four players – Kris Massie, Ben Rutten, Robert Shirley and Jacob Schuback – were omitted from the original squad of 28."

Its in the article where Craig talks about Reilly.
Thanks, I made the mistake of using their newsletter link they emailed thinking it would be up-to-date. Not suprised about Schuback, but leaving out Rutten is puzzling. Saw him last Friday night & though he was impressive - particularly comparing to players like Perrie who have been included.

I always thought that Crowell would play for the sake of team balance, which accounts for Schuback missing out (he'll get a chance later IMO).

But Perrie instead of Rutten?? Amazing on what I have seen in the pre-season, particularly against the local Eagles last week. Rutten at CHF was a whisker behind Torney as B.O.G., while Perrie was beaten by a has-been nobody on Sam Phillipou at CHB.

Looks like FF will be between Crowell and Perrie.

This is seriously farked!!

Macca 23 has it spot on!! It absolutly bewilders me that we are once again going for the Perrie/Crowell att FF thing again.

Didnt we recruit Carey because these guys could'nt cut it? Why are we having another crack at this when it hasnt worked before?

It flies in the face of their statements in the last few weeks that the young blokes who put their hands up at last weeks trial games would be given a run this week. Perrie was crap last week and he gets has an absolute armchair ride! Joke!
