bollocks to that.....all you need to do is stay out all night and then jump on the flight straight from a club (i think crazy horse will be the only establishment serving at that time).... the hangover wont kick in until you get home.....did it for the final v Port in 2004

I thought the same thing when I went to Adelaide for the Interpol gig a few months back. Got smashed as a mofo, thought it was close to flight time (6.40am), got a cab to the airport and realised it was like half 12. Then realised it wasn't a 24 hour airport, so I preceeded to spend 4 hours on the bench out the front spewing all over the place.

Got on the flight with spew all over me wrapped in my Geelong doona. It was a sight to behold.

Balcony K1, row M. Pretty crap seats (I'm the sort of person who likes being right on the boundary) but it was still good.
Had some feral Adelaide woman in front of us with an extremely high pitched voice accusing the umpires and Mackie of being "mates" just cause Mackie patted the umpire on the back after arguing to the ump about whether a goal was rushed or not.

Just got home from a massive road trip there and back for my first ever game interstate. Well worth it.

I was there.... Bay 119 behind the goals with ferals surrounding.

Good game and a great weekend. Went over on Friday morning with 11 lads and proceeded to sleep very little and dare the nightlife up on both Friday and Saturday night...

Good night life yet dodgy place. Police presence was amazing but trouble was everyone. Wannabe tough guys all over the place.

I think i'll stick to Bris Vegas/Gold Coast and Perth from now on...
