If we were to have only one captain next year it has to be Goodes. With more doubt surfacing of Craig's injuries and Jack only just rising as a player and yet to turn 24, I think it is the perfect time to revert to the one captain option. And slowly begin to raise Jack, Bird, Hanners etc. into leadership roles.

Goodesy to be skipper and Jack to be VC would be my vote, with Craig staying in the leadership group.

When fit he is in our best 22. When he was fit this year was given one game in the 2's to get back into things and promoted straight away. The coaches rate him very highly and I have no doubt if he is fit he will play 22 games + finals.

Goodes is our most experienced player,and i agree he should captain the side.As for vice captain, give Jude Bolton a shot,he works his arse off in packs,and is an inspiration to younger players. Captains are sussed by the
coaches every week,its not all based on skill,its about leadership on the
field,which players take command of the situation on the field and bark
instructions to others!
