Some positives

Yes they were seriously undermanned and missing more quailty than we were, but we still had out Farmer, Johnson, Peake and Schammer - all in our 22. Some positives to come from this:

1. we won the clearances
2. no 50m against
3. no silly frees given away
4. no passengers (see what happens when everyone contributes)
5. Hasleby 37 possessions - back to his best.
6. 60 inside 50s for 30 scoring shots
7. Not sure what the tackle count was, but it was a lot bloody higher than 26!
8. Another win at the MCG. This ground holds no fears for us.
9. Pav and Taz - 8 goals between them (could've been as many as 13 had they kicked straight!). Great understanding and getting better each week. Imagine when Jeffrey is camped at their feet.
10. We got the 4 points.

Finally we are in some good form, and we are at home next with Michael Johnson coming back in, things at last looking up this season. Wow how much do we miss Hase when he's out! Amazing ball winner with great skills and a good footy brain.

True that - but will temper that to say that currently Adelaide >>>>>>> Melbourne.

However, we are at home, we are getting closer to our preferred line-up and we have a lot of positives to take with us into next week. Time to give the home supporters something to cheer about.

Plus it's Macca's 200th. If we can "Do it for Hase", we have to also "Do it for Macca".

Nope. I remember Hase had a game high 15 contested possesions from the top 5 on the gameday live thingo that seems to have disappeared now.
