2 more signings:

Brayden Calvett from WWT Eagles. 21 year old, 178cm, 76kg. Played 3 ressies games this year, and 13 last year. Aligned with Athelstone.
Will O'Brien from Barossa District. Played for Centrals U18s last year.

Hang on, so this is a direct clash with the AFL game. That's a real pain.

That's a huge player turnover ahead of what is a pretty important game. The battle of the spoon. Some decent ins, but not sure if they'll be enough to balance is out. Hopefully Tommy A will be released to play for the Magpies.

Anasta and Visentini will be in Tassie as emergencies.

O'Brien is an interesting one. He's a 183cm forward who can go through midfield. Bit of an excitement machine, left-footer, can take a hanger, quick and has kicked a few bags at under-age level.

Defence looks strong on paper.

I count 420 games of AFL experience in the side today, hardly recognise a name on South’s team sheet, and we’re seven goals down against the 2nd bottom team in the comp and it’s not even half time? Absolutely disgraceful.
They literally don’t give a shit about it, players coaches selectors none of them

It’s embarrassing. Hartlett is clearly completely out of his depth. There is no way a team with half a dozen established AFL players in key positions should be performing that badly.
Nothing about Hartlett as a player suggested he had any of the qualities that would make him a coach. They should give him Jarrod Walsh's job if they want to keep him around the club
