Seems like this trade had been flagged by the AFL to happen on the final day. The entire trade period seems like it is stage managed to try and build up the excitement on closing day. I'm sure they have already locked in the timings for all the trades that will be completed today.

Just doesnt make sense that this trade has not already been done prior to today.

As I said in the other thread it's waiting on other clubs / deals. It will get done but with Brisbane and us having nothing else on they waiting to see if a third club gets desperate and offers up the picks that Brisbane want.

"Excitement" lol.

It's all just to draw people in with clicks.

Even the draft isn't really worth getting excited over any more as the best prospects are all academy/FS and have already been at their clubs for several years by now.

Is he THAT good? What are his strength/weaknesses?
Strengths
  • contested ball
  • clean hands/inside work
  • strength
  • competitiveness

Weakness
  • disposal by foot
  • outside game
  • speed

It’s exact player that would compliment Draper and Rankine.

Carlton gave up pick 12, 14 and Owies for pick 3 last year.

Richmond open to trading pick 4
Time to go chips in

Out :2025 1st + 2026 1st + 2027 1st (will be junk with Tas in) + 2026 2nd
In : Pick 4 (Sharp) , Rich 2026 2nd
Not sure I see how pushing our chips in for Sharp

If an SA talent wants to come home in a year or two time, we'd have no FR's to use

Don't mind moving up for Cumming, Mitch marsh or so but using 3FR is too much burnt for future trading bridges

Feels like May has always been a Port player deep down.
He's that level of flog.

I tend to agree, the moment I heard something about May being in Adelaide the first thing that hit my mind was Port.

He is definitely the type of flog that would fit right in down there.
