Yes! Our first slice of big Richard getting in and about the action! Oh, I can't wait to see the fella' run out onto the field.

Another name that's slipped under the radar on the list, Adam Hartlett getting a run.

Starters:
B: Michael Jamison, Bret Thornton, Shaun Grigg
HB: Kade Simpson, Jarrad Waite, Paul Bower
C: Nick Stevens, Heath Scotland, Dennis Armfield
HF: Bryce Gibbs, Adam Hartlett, Bryce Gibbs
F: Eddie Betts, Brendan Fevola, Matthew Kreuzer
O/B: Shaun Hampson, Marc Murphy, Andrew Carrazzo

I think we should start the game with our best possible list and see how the team reacts to an early lead, as most of the time we have played from behind.

I still worry if we're in front, too many times have we actually been in front and lost it easily. A lot of the times in the last couple of years we've been in front at the 20 minute mark and go into the break down. Sorting that out will make me a happy camper :thumbsu:

Yep - those 5/10 minute mind lapses have really hurt us.

Fortunatelly, we have this NAB Cup time to experiment with the team so we have the time to actually muck about with the line-up:thumbsu:.

Thornton as a forward is not mucking about Eddie B but having fun!

Reading a few posts there seems to have been a concern with Hampson.

Being in europe i obviously miss a few things...what was the concern??
The only concern I have with Shaun is that he's running too hot at the moment. The fella' is a machine!

Are they twins? :p I hope they both have the same skill and ability. We'll win the premiership for sure!!! :p

From the weekly Carlton newsletter:

" A victory and Carlton will play the winner of Adelaide and Fremantle in either Adelaide or Perth in the semi-final of the NAB Cup. A loss to Hawthorn and the Blues will play a NAB Challenge match against West Coast in Alice Springs the following weekend."

We are travelling next week regardless of the result

Damn. A match in Perth would definitely be preferable to one in Alice Springs. Could this potentially hold back Judd's debut a week, given it will be a long flight?

I would think the quality of the ground would be the bigger issue.

I think Ratten has already said Judd will play the last round of NAB cup, i guess this is the reason not wanting him to have to travel when he can wait.

Haha, excuse me, my fault! Swap one of them with...

Sammy Jacobs:D.
