This guy needs to change his mic settings so we aren't hearing every smack and slurp in our ears.

So Morrison confirmed that he told two NewsCorp 'journalists' - Simin Benson and Geoff Chambers - about his secret self appointments so they could put it in their book 'Plagued'.

But he kept that secret from his Cabinet colleagues and the Australian people. And they kept his secret to themselves for book sales - acting not as journalists but propagandists.

The Murdoch - Morrison conspiracy continues.

What a disgrace.

Edit:

The Washington Post, whose journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward relentlessly pursued the Watergate scandal leading to the resignation of Nixon, has the motto 'Democracy Dies in Darkness'.

The title of their book 'Plagued' would seem a fitting motto for Benson and Chambers and their newspaper.

Still coming to grips with Morrison actually claiming that Australia's democracy emerged stronger under his leadership.

And doing that in an extraordinary shouty press conference where he is attempting to weasel his way out of trashing the principles and protocols that underpin our democracy.
Hopefully this presser today crossed a line in the sand where enough Australians finally realise what a deceitful no-talent turd he's been all along.

There's a couple. I've often bemoaned the lack of intelligent, good-faith conservatives on BF. I would really appreciate some mature, respectful engagement with some non-Xtreme/JackFlash conservatives.
That's because true conservatives now vote Labor or teal. Only idiots and nut jobs vote for the coalition.

It is quite revealing that Morrison (a known lying piece of s**t) thought he had to clarify that he had no financial interest in the book.

A do not forget that 70% of the "journalists" at that press conference DO have a financial interest in that book given they are employed by the company publishing it.

Democracy my arse

Someone needs to ask about what legals were entered into over this.

his dodgy maaaate houston has given him absolution. what a piece of work this lying, corrupt so and so is. a half decent party would kick his sorry ass out.

"There was a clear expectation... established in the public's mind, certainly in the media's mind... that I was responsible for pretty much every single thing that was going on.”

Believes it is his greatness alone that stands between Aust succeeding and failing - a Jakka/Ablett/Bradman/Matthews rolled into one. The role of the Cabinet Ministers was to wash his jock strap and bring out fresh batting gloves.

So, did he resign?

A summary of the presser:

It's the public's fault.

And the media's.

Scott's the only one that understands because he was the only one who was Prime Minister at the time.

And all of us are just so lucky he was in charge.

Because the rest of us, except for all the people who keep coming up and say thank you in the shops, are stupid.

And he didn't bother telling us at the time because 'we can't handle the truth'.

But he is truly sorry that the rest of us are just not as good as him.

But he forgives us all.

And is staying on because clearly we need a man like him in Federal Parliament.

He saved us all.

Go Sharkies.
