well, first test completed in little over 3 days and 2nd will be over later on with no more rains.Brathwaite was unlikely hero with 6 for 29, who took only 3 wkts in his FC matches.Few days ago sobers had tears as he blames IPL and t20i cricket responsible to ruins westindies test cricket.i think westindies has golden chance to scores 222 or so today to level the series as Herath not the same bowler but Dilrawan and siriwardana doing good on turning track.

9.45 am. start IST.Good luck both the team

Well we are playing. Hopefully the whether stays clear. I still like Sri Lanka. What do others think>

West Indies have some class players but there is so much average crap in the side too, which overpowers the decent contributions made by their better players. The likes of Taylor, Holder, Bishoo, and Blackwood deserve so much better from their team mates.

I think they have enough about them bowling wise at least to put up a decent showing or two against Australia in the upcoming series, it won't be like India's tour in 2011/12 with Australia racking up 500+ easily then bowling them out for < 200. More like ~250-350 vs < 200.

Bravo and Roach.

Probably a bit premature to call Blackwood class. Big shoes to fill taking Chanderpauls spot.

Roach has been ordinary for a while. I think he got injured a couple of years ago and hasn't been the same since. He's certainly not the same bowler who gave Ricky Ponting a working over at the WACA a few years back.

I know he's there for his bowling but ar least with the bat he put value on his wicket unlike Samuels.
