I'll play, but only if there's a Tassie team.

Resume? I won everything in the s36 finals series.
Well I am not sure if there is enough of us Tasmanians here to get a team.

I am sure the 4 or 5 of us could still win against a full team though.

You would only need 10 to make a Team

Put 10 players on your team and you have a full side.

There's a Tassie kit. That's the best I can do for you.

Let me know if you're interested in joining the Allies, otherwise I'll just let you photoshop yourself into this doing god knows what.

But I don't wanna represent #VICBIAS, I want to represent NSW (somebody has to) as I renounced being Victorian years ago :(

Nonetheless, put me down.

Name (your BigFooty username): Scythe

Preferred State (VicC/VicM/SA/WA/QLD/TAS/NT/ALLIES/NSW-ACT/International): VicC (if I have to)

Secondary State (in case first preference is not included in the competition): NSW

Sweet FA CV/Resume (optional): I've played 106 games without retiring once
So Counts over Allies? No takebacksies.

Tbh I'd probably line up for Vic Metro if Tassie didn't have a team, I've been here long enough that it's kind of like home.

Tassie is part of "the Allies"; love to have you in Vic Metro!!

Yeah Tassie are part of 'the rest' that fall under Allies, so it would be Allies or Metro then.

It's your choice. Once you choose though, that's your team locked in.

No state swaps.

The Allies concept was and is a slap in the face to Tasmanians and to Tasmania's role in the national competition. To be grouped together with Johnny-come-lately also-ran states was outrageous. If I were a Richo or a Lynchy I never would've agreed to play.

Vic Metro it is.

We got enough for an England team? So far it’s me, Chipmunk , Qlive Waterhouse, Qonnor Idun and Callum Q. Brown

Me and Strigoi... probably not enough for a full team.

C'mon Strigs, do some SOO!

TheInjuryFactory what happens if player x chooses against the Allies and down the track a state/international has enough peeps for a standalone team?
It's a good question Ding, I think if a new state/team was somehow able to muster up enough active players for a series we would obviously have to put our heads together.

I have kept a fairly accurate record of players who have nommed for sides not currently in the comp (international, Qld, NSW ACT etc) so there is some tracking of rough numbers and an idea of who may look to switch.

I think it's very unlikely to see the comp expand unfortunately, and the majority of those who would look to move are Allies as it stands, with the odd exception.

What's your thinking?

Yup I think that's the common sense approach. A new team is a fork in the road and we make a case by case decision based on sign ups. Just want to get some transparency ahead of the game.
