Brenton Sanderson kicked just 34 goals in his 14 year career, but never had a goalless season. I wonder what the record is for

* played N years
* never had a season without kicking at least one goal
* fewest total career goals

What’s the biggest age gap between players who were coached by the same person?

Further, what’s the top 20 biggest age gaps?

What I meant was the biggest gaps between players’ dates of birth?
Ah, that's not very intuitive. The list will be skewed towards long-serving coaches.

I'm surprised at the Hudson-Houlihan connection and Kickett-Scrimshaw one.

Thank you RTB.

This week's grand final will contain many Richmond players who have played in a premiership, as well as, I think, five Geelong players. Which grand finals have contained the most premiership players? Essendon vs Hawthorn in 1985 would have to be a contender. To clarify: the 1984 grand final would probably not rank because none of the Essendon players were premiership players until the final siren sounded.

Maybe the Hawthorn/North Melbourne Grand Final of 1978, given Hawks won 1976 and North 1975/77?

Didn't know where to put this but, what SANFL clubs were allocated to Port Adelaide and Adelaide before PA became strictly the PA magoo's and Adelaide's magoo's debut circa 2014?

Also, what WAFL clubs were allocated to West Coast and Fremantle?

TYIA.

From 2002-12 in the WAFL, players from other states were shared amongst the nine WAFL clubs. Generally the poorer performed clubs [Peel and Perth mainly] got extra players and sometimes first go at their choice of a draftee. I'm not sure if there was any more choice or nuance each club had in the matter.

There were previous alignment arrangements, Fremantle and South Freo in 1999 and East Perth-West Coast arrangement for a few years late nineties to early this century [maybe 99-01/02]. I'm not sure if any clubs had alignments before that.

Currently Peel Thunder is Freo's aligned team [since 2014] and West Coast had East Perth 2014-18 and West Coast Reserves in 2019. Both Peel and East Perth had the non-WA players in 2013 as a partial alignment but all players 2014 onwards.
