What's the record for most games experience in an umpiring group in a game?

Just saw the crows final on the weekend had 1,051 games experience between the 3 field umpires.

Largest 3/4 time comebacks in a final?

I have used a comeback margin of 20 points or more and have included two comebacks where the team's comeback produced a draw. The team who made the comeback is listed first in the 'teams' column.

Does anyone ever remember the same teams playing finals two years in a row?
Has it happened in our lifetime ?

Excellent. Wow. Imagine living in first decade of last century and being a Geelong or St.Kilda supporter and being sick of seeing same 4 teams in each finals series for so many years in a row.

What is the most games coached, both overall and for one club, without playing in a grand final?

Both records are held by Bill Stephen. He coached a total of 258 games without a Grand Final appearance, with 214 of these games at Fitzroy (during 3 stints as coach). The other 44 games coached were at Essendon.

Next on the list are:

Terry Wallace - 247 games
Brad Scott - 179 games
Neil Craig - 177 games

At the start of 2017, Brad Scott and Damien Hardwick were the current coaches with most games without a Grand Final (at 147). With Hardwick now joining the list of Grand Final (and Premiership) coaches, Brad Scott now holds the record outright for current coaches. Second on this list is now Nathan Buckley with 136 games.

Are the stats for the u18 championships available at all anywhere public? 2015 and 2016 are available on the AFL website but not 2017.

Shaun Grigg at 29y164d was the oldest player this year. Last premiership team with a lower "youngest oldest" was Essendon 1984.

The premiership team with the youngest, oldest player was Hawthorn 1961. Brendan Edwards (who was BOG in his 100th game) was only 25y189d. This is a long way clear of the next youngest, oldest - Ian McLean at 28y25d for Melbourne 1957.

good one.

adam heuskes did as well (he seems to be the only one to play for AFL clubs in 3 states outside of the heartland of Victoria and yet was from Victoria).
John Hutton (Brisbane, Sydney, Fremantle).

Matthew Clarke, Adrian Fletcher, Fabian Francis, Chris Groom, Mark Hepburn, Martin McKinnon, Mitch Morton, Michael Murphy, Rhys Palmer, Chad Rintoul, Matthew Spangher and Stuart Wigney all played for clubs in three states as well. I'm sure there would be plenty more.

Jonathon Giles did this as of last year.
It's a pity he didn't manage a game in all the time he spent at Port Adelaide, as he could have been the first player to play for AFL clubs in four different states (from what I can see). Just looking at the list of players who played games with four or more clubs it looks like playing for clubs in three different states is the most achieved by anyone.
