I haven't heard much of their stuff but I don't like "Rikki Don't Lose that Number". "Hey Nineteen" starts off well but then fades into an anti-climax. "Reelin in the Years" is a top song and "Do it Again" is one my all-time faves.

Virtually invented the bespoke guitar solo - Larry Carlton, Jeff Baxter etc. So anyone remotely interested in guitar action must check their cataloge. Their DVD Two Against Nature is sensational - if you like a mix of funk, jazz shapes and pop hooks .. plus ALWAYS an incredible band of power rhythm and stellar horns.

Went to the Melbourne concert - way too short but a miracle to actually see them in action. Mostly from AJA ( see the Great Albums series DVD about the making of this record .. talk about perfectionists ! ) with a bit of Royal Scam and .. Black Friday.

My fav. track ( today ) is Cousin Dupree. If that doesn't get you moving, you have no pulse.

I fulfilled a lifelong dream by seeing them in Melbourne on Thursday night and I was more than satisfied with what I saw :D:D:D

My top 10 songs in no particular order are...

Doctor Wu
Home At Last
Night By Night
Don't Take Me Alive
Deacon Blues
Midnight Cruiser
Your Gold Teeth
King Of the World
Josie
Third World Man
