Don't think it should be allowed, would have plenty of knowledge about the other clubs. Should be a 6-12 month break for any AFL executive to work at a clubTaking over from Brian Cook as CEO of Geelong... Not sure if his tenure would be considered a success.

Well done to Geelong for getting him though
Leaves ThursdayHe has to be stood down immediately, right? He cannot possibly continue in his current role to the end of the season.
Agree the conflict here is massive, but could say the same about anyone that comes out of AFL house or say AFLPADon't think it should be allowed, would have plenty of knowledge about the other clubs. Should be a 6-12 month break for any AFL executive to work at a club

Good riddance.
Not sure specifically but given that he is charge of below there is probably some knowledge he would be able to take from other clubsWhat knowledge would he have ?
The AFL Football Operations department portfolio covers the AFL and AFLW competitions, AFL Match Review and Tribunal system, the Laws of the Game, umpiring at the elite level, key talent pathways and elite coaching development programs.
what, so all these rubbish rules he has made up in the last 3 or 4 yrs will be changed back, if yes, you beauty, you can contest for the ball and knock out as many players as you feel like as long as you are within 5 mts of the ball, decent footy again!!!!
I agree, it would depend on the role though. A top executive should be 6-12 months though, lower levels maybe 3 monthsAgree the conflict here is massive, but could say the same about anyone that comes out of AFL house or say AFLPA
players can contest for the ball without getting reported again, i hope hes gone and he cant go to geelong, i dont care
no contesting for the ball, x, no knocking out the players, x, no hip and shoulders, x, basically the players cant go in hard for the ball because of so called "protect the head"Which rules do you disagree with? IMO the stand rule is a big tick.. stricter interpretation of the deliberate is a big tick, 6-6-6 tick..
I think you have your head in the sand if you think this will change with Hocking gone.no contesting for the ball, x, no knocking out the players, x, no hip and shoulders, x, basically the players cant go in hard for the ball because of so called "protect the head"
thats only a few of many, hopefully the new floghead that takes over will change those but he probably wont
