He was a gun footballer, he might not have been able to fight any good against team mates, but he was a hard imposing figure on the ground who I thought was treated unfairly on at least a couple of ocassions by the tribunal / match review.

Guess we'll never know unless the police visit reaches the courts. It does seem weird for a police visit to occur, the player to take leave, and then he retires. All without knowing why the police visitef in the first place...
