Yeah what is the deal with that. I listened to rocks a while ago and was really suprised how good it was. But after than they seemed to have turned into a band intent on creating stuff that was more suited to radio like, dude looks like a lady and love in an elevator.

Rocks, Toys in the Attic, Get Your Wings and Aerosmith, the great quartet of albums which had them by 1976 arguably being the one of the greatest rock bands going around.

Soon after Rocks came their demise as Tyler and the boys really lost it, maybe one more decent song - "Draw The Line", and never found it again despite their "revival" spurred by that 'Walk This Way' re-mix in 86.

A nice nostalgic moment which should not have been a green light to proceed with hooking up with hit songwriters and jump onto the power ballad jackpot and come out with songs that really stunk.

At least on Honkin On Bobo they captured a little of what made them a good band, because they were playing the songs that inspired and made them what they were.

So if you are interested in Aerosmith, go look for their 70's stuff both live and studio albums up until Rocks, probably their best album.

You'd think he'd be smart enough to keep up appearances with 'botox' ...it's nothing criminal. Saw Alice Cooper last night and he just keeps on getting better in looks and vocally.. song choices were outstanding..
