IS it just me that's getting sick of the endless dribble Melbourne is trying to feed us.

The latest stories is the straw that broke me ..

We played better than final margin - FFS what game were they at - I watched it .. they were lucky to get that close .. if they put in for four quarters and did the basics (I would take average) because now they are below poor.

We've made progress; Jones: Again FFS just because you didn't get beaten by 100 points does not mean you have made progress .. The team still can't hit targets by hand or foot and are more scared than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.


Stop the dribble .. say it how it is .. that since Neeld has taken over we have gone backwards .. during the Bailey years (still one of the biggest mistakes) they could at least run and carry and string more than two passes together.

Who is the kicking coach at HAwks / Cats /Pies .. they are the ones we need ..


Time to stop the sugar coating and come out and say "Our boys have no skill .. put the pressure on them .. "

Most club websites are the same, promote the positives and brush over the negatives.

If you seriously expect anything other than positivity on the club website then you're delusional. They are never going to come out and outright say they are shithouse. It'd be like soft drink company coming out and saying "our drink tastes like shit!! but we still want you to go to the shops every weekend and buy some".

Considering it's out own players saying that we have improved after a 10 goal loss, it's not really the website's fault. I have no problem with the way it is run, I just don't support this "we are getting better" stuff.

What did you expect from yesterday's match? I never, ever enjoy a 10 goal loss but we are a truely terrible side at the moment. Were so shit that all I can ask for is effort and I think we got that for once at least. We were paying $17 to win on sportsbet, at the G. They dont do that for a laugh, we suck. I would also say the West Coast reaction was a response to the Essendon match, people wanted to show some solidarity after dipshits abused the players coming off the week before.

Ditto. When you get beaten by as much as we did in the first few games, all you really need to say is that the players will be working their pants off at training to improve. If there aren't any positives to take from a game, don't manufacture some.

It is extremely rare that there are no positives to take out of a game, even when you get pumped.
Some prefer not to look for them but they are there and it's the websites job to find and highlight them.

I generally don't. Understand that the last place to look for an objective opinion is the Club's website so I read the news elsewhere. Not sure why you guys feel the need to beat the other guy or anyone over the head about wanting a bit more reality from the Club's media. Don't have to name and shame people, just less clutching at straws.

There's some ripper stories on the website, I think more the issue is some of the specific "positives" that coaches or players seem to be taking out of games but that's a separate issue. Otherwise I find it quite good and informative.
