Well he still had all the other endorsements and potential future playing career in other forms of the game to take care of. Go public then and he would've been instantly black-listed. This seems a little slow even considering that but would be the main reason I'd think. Why has he taken nearly six and a half years to make this claim, though? You'd think if this was money that he was genuinely owed, and he was making his living from cricket, that he would have been right onto it at the time it was not being paid, or soon after.

How?Proves what a cork sucker the collar standing prick was.![]()
Adding the interest makes you think he's just being a dickhead, but the base claim arguably has merit.
If he's owed money, fair enough pay him and get on with it. The interest thing is bound to raise eyebrows though.
Interest! Gold digging at its finestHow?

He's looking for a return of roughly 8% there which is ridiculous really considering the risk free rate over the last 6 years has been low. Makes me think he's just being a dick.MacGill claims he is owed injury payments to the tune of $1,640,890 and interest of $984,534.
This amount includes tour payments of $846,090 for 15 away test matches, tour payments of $140,800 for 11 home game test matches, annual retainer payments of $627,000 and $27,000 prize money for nine series.
MacGill was a contracted cricket player since 1998 and entered into a one-year contract for the period 2009 to 2009 in June 2007, according to the writ.
Stuey must rate himself as quite the investor too with that interest accrual over six years.
But if he was contracted to the end of 2009 it at least appears the claim has legs even if he is a right corkpaigner.

yeah why not? as it hurts their feelings and decreases their earning potential and marketing capacityWhats next, blokes suing CA for being dropped. What a joke.

Not sure what problem people have with this? CA are famous for not wanting to have anything to do with players the second they are dropped - I would not be surprised if there is something to the claim.
