At least I'm not Bobby Madley
Carroll---Benteke
------Sakho------
Payet-Noble-Lanzini
We play more a 4-1-2-2-1 formation, with Kouyate / Nordveit as the DM, Noble and Lanzini as the 2 CM's, Antonio and Payet on the wings and then a striker up front.

But Slav can change the formation, went to a 5-3-2 a few times late in the season.

i always laugh at this. Agents have more than 1 client. When Klopp watched the argies, the papers linked pool to higuain because klopp sat beside his agent....who probably has a quarter of the team in his stable.
The internet is funny. The bloke Klopp was sitting next to wasnt even Higuain's agent, it was his son, Marc Klopp.

We'll only sign one. And i cant help but feel underwhelmed if its Janssen
21 year old striker who apparently scored 30-odd goals in all comps this season. I know it's the Dutch league but it's still pretty impressive. From what I understand he has a good international record as well. It seems like a typical Pochettino signing to me. He's also a lot cheaper than the alternatives in Batshuayi and Lacazette.

What is the current record? Di Maria? Martial(if all add ins are met)?

ADM was £65m or so from memory.
1. Di Maria @ £59.7m
2. De Bruyne @ £54m
3. Torres @ £50m
4. Sterling @ £49m
5. Ozil @ £42.5m

Martial cost United £37.8 up front with a possible further 30m euros if he meets all his add-ons (£23.5m at the current exchange rate), which would be the new record at £61.3m.

Thanks for that. I think Sterling would be around £45m so far. League Cup win cost us some, and his first appeaeance bonus may have kicked in.

Apparently the only bonuses that haven't been hit are £1m for City winning the league. Cup win & England appearances plus CL semi final havw taken care of the rest. So £48m at this stage.

NUFC Tiger the twitter responses to the sissoko tweets are worth a look mate. Gooners saying he'll be 6th choice and some very unhappy Geordies haha
Haha yeah good comedy reading isn't it? Not really a surprise though. He was always going to be one of the first to want out.

Reckons he always gave his best for the club but only ever turned up whenever we played a big club. He's still contracted for 3 years I believe so Rafa might hang onto him until a decent offer comes in.

Won't shed a tear if he leaves - I personally think he's a bit delusional if he thinks he can walk into a CL club like Arsenal. He's inconsistent as all heck. That being said, I would expect him to improve in a better environment than our own. If he could find consistency to his game, he'd be a fair weapon for a top club.

He wouldn't walk into our team but I wouldn't be surprised if it was depth in our squad.

He'd be better off staying where he is though.
