Kane runs and harasses which is what we need from a striker. Can't see Benteke doing that.

Also we don't play heaps of crosses which he makes the most of.

Our crosses come from mostly full backs. Ours aren't overly great at it. Trippier probably the best.

Most of the crosses are in behind the defence with Alli or Kane getting a tap in. More so than hanging them up in the air for anyone to head them in

Why I was pleased with the opening goal on the weekend. Walker finally put in an early cross. Goal. oh and it was also in behind the defence.

He scores quite a lot that are. Doesn't have to be over 50% for them to make him next to useless once they become next to none.

If you've got a player with such a great strength to his game you use it. Even if it only gets 6-8 goals a year of his 20+. I don't think he'd get that 6-8 at all with us and then he is just your run of the mill striker that is costing 30+ million with 10-15 goals

If it's less than 50% then that means his still managing half as many from other situations. And of course you put in more than zero crosses lol. I saw a stat about the breakdown of his goals for villa I'll try to find it again.

I'm not saying he wouldn't score for us. Just that we wouldn't be the sort of side that'd get the best out of him. It's not just his aerial goals but more his presence in the air bringing others into the game. We don't play a style that would suit that either. Yes he'd hold the ball up well but why take out his biggest strength heading the ball?

Similar to Berahino under Pulis. What's the point having a good player who doesn't suit the style? Yes they'll score. But not at the rate they would elsewhere
