How is Jack Byrne rated at City? He seems very confident.

not as highly as others but he's a tidy player.

Can't see that working. We've seen with Cech that top quality keepers won't accept being on the bench even on big wages. Ter Stegen wants to sign as a clear #1 & I don't see Hart accepting a spot on the bench.

I imagine you guys would most likely sell Hart if Ter Stegen came in.

cech wasnt sold right away.

Was being sarcastic as I knew someone would give you a jab for the sake of it.

I can just talk about Germany's refugees problem and in this forum it'd somehow be winded back to Liverpool somehow

Leicester will get a big injection of revenue over the next 12 months, but realistically that will be a short term spike. They won't be structuring massive contracts expecting to have CL revenue every year for the next 5 years. It's the sort of bad business that sent Leeds under.

I personally don't think Mahrez or Kante will leave, but it's not at all unrealistic to think that club and/or player will receive an offer that's too good to refuse or that Leicester can't match. There's probably 9 or 10 clubs in Europe who could comfortably make such an offer.

sounds like liverpool are after timo horn from koln, not ter stegen. also sounds like pep really does want ter stegen. if hart has one big downfall to his game, it's his distribution via his feet. it's better than what it used to be, but it's still really bad. ter stegen is outstanding with his feet. dont think hart will be sold immediately but he will actually have the first proper challenge since he became number one if this goes through.

Any German will do. Hell, a trained German Shephard would be an improvement.

Hart has been one of the best keepers in England for the last 6-7 years and I can't see him accepting second fiddle if that's what it comes to. Not having Kompany in-front of him this season he hasn't had his best season and City's defence has suffered heavily. He'd make most other EPL clubs number 1 keeper with ease. Who knows, Pep might just give him the boot anyways.

i expect many academy kids to be involved next season, so that shouldnt be a problem at all

rare for prominent journalists to actually be this confident with their name attached.
Not sure we were ever seriously into eother so not sure why he's throwing our name into it.

No serious links to Gundogun and more heat around Horn or Leno for the GK spot.

A classic.

The prolific youngster. They always seem to make the step up and become a spud. Low risk though at that price.
I remember Liverpool signing a lot of Spanish youngsters back in the Rafa days I think, most of them didn't pan out.

I assume he's been heavily scouted by Tony Henry, and considering our transfer record under him for the past 2 seasons, Martinez must have a fair bit of talent, we're paying him 5 times as much as what Valencia did, so we've obviously turned his head with that kind of offer.

i definitely think he would at least give it a season, especially with no major tournaments to immediately after the euros. he was also gonna leave when willy joined too. instead he got even better. it's harsh on joe who has easily been one of the most consistent performers, bad patch 18 months ago aside, but the club can't half arse this pep stuff. if he wants a player, get them. if he wants a player sold, sell him. they've been chasing him for years, now they have him and the faith goes fully into him.

Weren't you pretty keen on signing Ter Stegen recently?

Nobody believed the Valencia rumours. Mou doesnt take on difficult jobs. He takes on only the biggest clubs in the world with the most money.

United will be a very difficult job.

United will be a very difficult job.
every big club is a difficult job. united, chelsea, city all think they should win the league every year. arsenal the most lenient make 4th every year and there happy.

So where does everyone think Götze will be playing next season?
