Sometimes you just have to pay what ever it takes to get the players you really want. Hes not worth 100m but i would have been happy for us to spend it on him.

40m seems to have been the magic number for a while now, I doubt it's suddenly jumped up 20m.

And justifying Pogba at 100+ mil being alright is sorta hypocritical, Pogba at 100+ mil while being a very good player is still ridiculously overpriced. Oh wait here come the Man Utd accountants telling us the exact figures (or the wage figures that suit their narrative) of merchandise and whatever fee and that fee that makes it look like it isn't that expensive afterall. Happens every window

Anyhow, I got no dog in this fight, I don't care about Chelsea transfer businesses or how much they pay, I'll leave it to the Man Utd fans to take care of that

I made mention that I'm well aware United have overpaid in the past, not sure why what United have done means I can't then have a say on other transfers or transfer rumours.

All big clubs have overpaid on players at times, we may as well close the thread down if posters are not able to post thoughts on something because of who they support.

adl doesn't **** around with napoli. he knows what he has and will demand everything for them. we cant forget higuain only moved due to a release clause.

clubs have been dealing with this for years. its the other side of the tv money. why are roma able to loan bruno peres with an obligation to buy for about 15 mil but they demanded 20 mil + from english clubs?
