Lloris to switch to direct rivals, come over to the Red side of NL ;)...

Won't happen, but I can imagine the LOLs.

I'd be willing to put money in myself to see that happen. Wenger needs to sign Bale at the same time to send Spurs fans insane :)

I guess at least 4 other EPL clubs would offer bigger wages.
All the ITK is that Bale would come back if we could do a deal. Him behind Kane would have us looking good for a top 3 spot. Absolutely won't happen, but a man can dream and it's still more likely than United signing Lloris for anything but a ridiculous fee or Arsenal signing him at all.

If it did though, I'm certain Levy would break the bank.

LvG comments:

"I like him and the way he played against Chelsea last week. He was unlucky he didn't score.

"I like Falcao as a human being, just as I like Danny Welbeck and Chicharito (Hernandez), they are always professional.

"But when you are not in the team for season after season, there comes a time when you need a challenge.

"That's why I have said goodbye to Welbeck and Chicharito. And now I have to talk with Falcao."

With heavily reduced wages and transfer fee and Falcao having to realise he could just be a bench player.
Nothing to see here, I'd take that more of LvG saying he isn't staying.

It sounds like he will be on his way, nothing from that suggests he'll be moving permanently to OT.

Reported Bayern has interest in Guendegan...bad luck Man U no chance for you if true

No problem, we'll just chase Gundogan. Never heard of the player Bayern are chasing, is he good?

@TonyBarretTimes: My understanding on Memphis Depay is Liverpool & PSG are the only clubs to have held talks with him up to now. Obviously that could change.

From memory I think the player has said in the past that he'd prefer to play in England? United yet to come to the party but they'd obviously be our main competition for his signature.

Honestly if we've identified him as our #1 target I hope we've learnt our lesson from Sanchez, Willian, Mkhitaryan etc. He's the sort of player you break your wage structure for; we have the advantage of being the 1st to speak with him, make him a huge offer so he doesn't give a 2nd thought to signing with anyone else and get it done quickly. We have a terrible habit of dicking about, dragging these negotiations out and haggling over pennies.

And I daresay our transfer record over the last few years begins to look a bit brighter if we had actually bitten the bullet and offered the sort of wages you need to land these types of players! We're certainly capable of it as the salaries we paid/are paying to the likes of Suarez, Sturridge, Gerrard and (sadly) Johnson demonstrate.

Bale might like the idea of coming back to Tottenham, but unfortunately there's absolutely no way in a million years they could afford to buy him back. If he returns to England it'll be to United or City. Can't see him leaving Madrid just yet though.

Can you see Levy spending the £75m+ and £250k a week wage he would command?

Arsenal and Chelsea would be all over him too.
