Like who?
You cant find any strikers in world football with a 1 in 2 strike rate who are around 24-26. Or even younger.

Look at Vietto and the prices he has been mooted at. Aubemeyang is another.

Id have to research it which I cant be bothered doing.

usually in the bank.

if liverpool, a global brand, one of the biggest clubs in the world, aren't making enough cash to be able to buy anyone until you sell your brightest star, then there are a magnitude of problems at your club.

arsenal always had money too. a desire to have a better balance sheet than football team was their problem.
Fair enough, I agree. If anything since FSG came in, our business side of it and global brand has increased far, far more. They are excellent business men.

Maybe we are in an Arsenal situation now.

fans will turn on fsg and rodgers if we dont do well this season. talk already that they are looking to sell
to some oil owners we could be the new city very soon

has it though? i'd argue much the opposite, and it's hurting liverpool right now. the brand size doesnt really mean anything if it's doing nothing to help the club itself. i'd presume the liverpool brand is doing much better for fsg than it is for liverpool

It really has. We still lived in the dark ages under Moores. It was chaos under the cowboys. FSG has improved us hugely on the business side of things and growing the brand and taking advantage or our already huge worldwide profile.

Yeah right.

Had nothing to do with being financially prudent while managing a large debt  Money was being saved to put Arsenal in the position we are now....having money to make the big buys we want.

You had £170m sitting in the bank at one stage.

Its hard to know what exactly was happening at that time. Then the club said we had money to buy players but never did. Lately though they are saying we never had the money. Could be all spin though.

is aubemeyang likely to leave are we any chance?

No chance either way. Dortmund won't let him go and I can't see him crossing to Liverpool.

Nobody knows for certain what the actual amount was in the bank.

The club was required to have a certain amount of cash reserves to guarantee against the loans due to the way they were organised, some £25-£50m. Money was also there to cover missing the Champions League revenue for a sustained period of time should it have happened (and came close to happening).

The club always maintained that the Stadium finances were secure even if we missed the Champions League because of the policy of saving money. The club was basically only turning a profit on the back of selling players. The money that was there was tied up doing other things.

klopp gone dont think hes signing a new contract dortmund not in ucl.

Yeah, but they'd be pretty keen in getting back there.

I thought he still had a couple of years left on his contract too.

it's believed that vietto and jackson martinez are now atletico players. combined 55 mil euros.

Atelitco actually bought footballers themselves instead of getting a 3rd party to pay for them? What is the world coming to!
