Because United is an attractive club to plenty of players and Van Gaal appeals to many as a manager. Maybe Neymar gets bored of being at Barcelona?

United has ambitions to get back to where they were from 2008-2011 as being right up there with Barcelona as a world beating side. Not everyone stays at the one club for years either.
