madrid able to get toni kroos for 25 mil while we're trying to negotiate a transfer where to other club wants 30 mil plus a 15 mil rated player

boourns

In fairness Kroos only has one year left on his contract. It's not like RM to offer large money in that situation. Surprised they won't wait a year.

I think Kroos will go to Real Madrid and I don't know why Chelsea would want Khedira he seems cooked

The metro going a bit early on this! With rumoured interest from PSG, Monaco and Marseille, not sure Debuchy would decide until after the WC to be honest.

NFGKizza - a few reports saying we may have some interest in Richards if Debuchy is sold. With Sagna and Zab, do you think he'd be surplus to requirements for you guys/available for sale (and if so, at what price)?

Has he? As far as I'm aware neither the player nor the agent have said anything at this stage. All I've read is that Arsenal are the first club to have spoken to Sanchez's agent and while he's happy with the terms they have offered, there are several clubs (one of which being Liverpool) who are ready to make offers and will hope to convince him that their club is the right club to join.

I suspect that as we've seen in the past whoever offers the highest wages might have a fairly strong influence over his final preference, not to mention Barcelona will be looking to sell for the highest possible transfer fee, will that come from Arsenal? Who knows. I have a feeling both this and the Suarez deal will have a few more twists and turns over the coming weeks.

Have heard that he prefers Arsenal due to living in London as well as liking the club. As you say, it's hard to tell at this stage where he will end up. Just commenting on what's being reported.

Would be an amazing get for you guys! Money and a club's ambition can be quite persuasive in the right amounts.
Would be massive! While he is on the older side, there is no substitute for quality.

he's as good as gone and that was before we signed sagna

City apparently willing to accept a cut-price deal for Richards so definitely see him leaving.

Would certainly get a bit of interest from other PL clubs I would have thought. One of the articles I read said he could be available for around $5m.

In other news, Ross McCormack has handed in a transfer request at Leeds - could be on a few radar's (has been linked to the Toon amongst others in the last month or so).

Apparently Leeds want 10m for him which is a bit ridiculous. Is funny reading their owner's comments now that McCormack apparently loves the place and that he'd only sell him to someone like PSG, Liverpool, RM etc. So much for that.

McCormack is seriously overrated. If he was good enough for the PL, he'd already be there.

I can see why he wants out of Leeds but I wouldn't want him leading my strike force.

Definitely one of the better Championship strikers, but I would rate Rhodes head and shoulders above him.

18 year old attacking midfielder Ryan Gauld has moved from Dundee United to Sporting Lisbon for £3m plus add ons (Sporting have subsequently inserted a €50m buyout clause into his contract). Very interesting deal, the kid has got bags of talent and obviously it's very rare for British players (particularly players this young) to move to the continent.

He is small, would get battered in the EPL so have moved to a league where he will grow better as a player.

It'll be interesting to see how the Suarez-Sanchez deals play out, it's a very complex situation. Obviously Barcelona will want to secure the highest possible price for Sanchez (wherever that comes from), but they will also want to pay the lowest possible price for Suarez. As a result the 2 deals are inextricably linked, which may offer us a degree of flexibility in negotiations as it becomes mutually advantageous for both clubs to seek a compromise. If after speaking with Sanchez we can come to an agreement and he agrees to be included in the deal, then it saves us a lot of time and money trying to secure a replacement from elsewhere and subsequently we might knock £10 million or so off Suarez's price. No Sanchez and I wouldn't be surprised if we told Barca to pay the release clause or no Suarez.

And he has stated as such. Smart kid with bags of talent. Coming up in Scotland will stand him in good stead too. Certainly one to watch.

I dont see Juve selling either of Pogba or Vidal, do they need the money?
I think Vidal will stay. Pogba highly unlikely as his manager has stated he's happy, although that could be just a ploy to get more money out of bidding clubs. I would forget Khedira, show Ramires and Mikel the door then throw the kitchen sink at Pogba and Tiago is free so there's your backup.
