gotta say we (hull city) have signed so well. happy as to have tom ince on the books the kid adds flare into our midfield. an it appears we are after a Bertrand who will be awesome if we get... I guess the idea of playing overseas mid year is getting players in the door

We've copped some criticism for not 'buying British' but the stark reality is English players are generally very expensive and not as good as talent available elsewhere. Definitely needs to be looked at by the English FA.

I've read enough quotes from people who worked with Carlo that it was his decision, that being said Roman didn't have a problem with it either(but Carlo pushed for it). It's the main reason why Emenalo is now 'the man' when it comes to signings(and he is doing a fantastic job) and if he doesn't want the player he doesn't get signed.

Is there fresh word of Bertrand? I haven't heard anything in months about him. Thought we were more keen on that Scottish kid Robertson.
 
Speaking of Real Madrid and strikers, they really gonna buy Falcao? Would be a huge risk spanking loads of money on someone just coming back from an ACL

Better off spending the money on Jackson Martinez

And Morata's on the way out, right, never seen enough of him, any good?

Morata has talent. Needs game time though to see just how much.

I don't know about that, I'd say we debunked that theory pretty convincingly last season! Beaten to the league title by just 2 points and falling 2 goals short of the record for goals scored in a PL season, absolutely demolishing a few top sides along the way with a team predominantly made up of English players.

Sterling & Henderson also both pivotal in our title challenge. Lallana could probably be thrown in that basket too based on his form last season.

I doubt it. Would be great to pull City's best player and 20 goal midfielder from them. The 2 point gap is erased for next season already if that happened!

No it's not.

You wouldn't have Suarez, the gap only widens.

He also isn't City's best player.
