Aguero.
Think the assumption was made that without Suarez Liverpool are no longer a top 2 team. Chelsea and City are the top title contenders (again), and I agree that Sterling/Henderson/Lallana etc wouldn't make it into either of their starting lineups. All depends on how you spend the Suarez $$$ but without some serious signings you are definitely weaker without him.But how many English players are in the Liverpool side who finished second?

This doesn't make any sense, Suarez is better than Gerrard has ever or will ever be. Current output is irrelevant in that discussion. So judge both on current output...
Toure > Aguero
Suarez > Gerrard
It was an ambiguous question to ask and all answers are debatable. Let's just leave it at that. And screw City for having all three. At the risk of inciting more irrelevant debate, I too believe Aguero is a better footballer than Toure. I actually think Silva is too. All are brilliant players. Yaya had a magnificent season. Is that so bad to say?
True. I forgot about that.No it's not.
You wouldn't have Suarez, the gap only widens.
He also isn't City's best player.

Gerrard has had a better career than Suarez. And how much a player peaks does not define how good they are as a player. Consistency is more valuable. This doesn't make any sense, Suarez is better than Gerrard has ever or will ever be. Current output is irrelevant in that discussion.
Yet your arguments as to why Toure is better than Aguero are based on current output rather than value over their career? So in that case shouldn't you say that Gerrard > Suarez?Gerrard has had a better career than Suarez. And how much a player peaks does not define how good they are as a player. Consistency is more valuable.
And Toure was the more durable player who scored only 4 goals less as a midfielder.Aguero was injured a fair bit but scored 17 goals in 23 games. Managed 28 goals in 34 games all up.
So no.
