i'd say our most talented player is silva by a fair distance. the stuff he can do with the ball is magical.

yaya uses strength and that burst off the mark to get the jump on his opponents. but on the ball, silva is the man.

Yeah I'd have Aguero and Silva one and two.

Current output Toure > Aguero
Current output Suarez > Gerrard
Overall career Gerrard > Suarez
I didn't think it was that hard to understand...
That's easy to understand, what was confusing was your argument as to why Toure is better than Aguero being based on current output, then using Suarez being better than Gerrard to justify it, and now saying that Gerrard is better than Suarez as career consistency is more important that current output?

Which one is it?

In 49 games and not injured or no major injury concerns.

Learn to stat.
So you're saying Toure is also a lot more durable than Aguero?

Thanks

Toure > Aguero

I'd take Aguero anyday now. What better way to replace Suarez than with Aguero?

One player who misses chunks of the season through injury coming in for a player who misses chunks of the season through suspension. True.

Are you really this stupid?

The original question was who is currently the better player. That is a totally different question to who has had the better career and hence my different answers to each question.

Gerrard has had a better career because of consistency but Suarez has had a far better output this season so he's currently the better player. I don't know how much more I can dumb that down for you.

Toure > Aguero

You must be special.

Toure is towards the end of his career, Aguero is in his prime.

Since they both started at City Toure has played 184 games and Aguero has played 122 and a season less with Toure playing 51 games in his first season.

Players get injured, there is a reason Aguero comes straight back into that team when fit.

I hope Liverpool do sign Toure, it mean's they'll be paying over 20m for a 31yo and won't actually give them a better chance at the title.

lol think you might need to dumb it down for yourself champ, your argument makes no sense. Gerrards peak has never been as good as Suarez is now, career has nothing to do with it. You don't buy players based on their career consistency when they are 31, you want them to be peak right now. So using Suarez > Gerrard to justify Toure > Aguero is a invalid point, did I dumb that down enough for you?

It does because if we're talking overall career, I would take Gerrard over Suarez because he has been consistently better, meaning he has been able to maintain a high level of football over a longer period of time. Suarez having a higher peak does not mean he has had a better career than Gerrard because by that logic you could say a one season wonder is better than a 15-year consistent performer.

If we're talking currently, Suarez is in better form and has had the better 2013/14 season and therefore is the better player currently. The same goes with Toure and Aguero, I think Toure is a better player than Aguero currently. Their overall careers is another irrelevant argument I'd rather not get into.

If you don't understand my reasoning then don't bother responding. I can't simplify this any further.

Carlos Tevez - Man City to Juventus - £10 million

-----ONE YEAR LATER-------

Ross McCormack - Leeds to Fulham - £11 million
Crazy

Lol @ this sentence.

That'll do for today. Thanks for the entertainment.

Yeah ridiculous. Would hope he's on small wages or Fulham are shooting themselves in the foot.

It's not even Rhodes-esque because Rhodes was a kid with huge potential which he's fulfilling. McCormack is what, 29?

Yes I realise you don't like actual stats that make your argument look stupid.
Hahahaha just stop you're embarrassing us both now.

'Learn to stat', then you post that abortion of a sentence.

How do you ignore people on here? I'm done with this idiot.

Pogbas going to have quite the choice of where to play and live. Madrid, Paris, London or Manchester.
:DYou forgot Juventus, which is where I think he will be playing next season.

The stat was added to show that over both of their careers at City Aguero hasn't played that much less than Toure so being "injury prone" isn't an issue.

It's a shame when parents decide to raise the afterbirth.

It was this season, which is what we're talking about. Or is it? I honestly don't know with you anymore.

I haven't argued that Toure didn't have a better season my argument it overall Aguero is the better player and in all his dominance last season Toure's season wasn't that much better than what Aguero had whilst playing a fair bit less. Further on that Aguero is not as injury prone as suggested on here.

Which in all is completely irrelevant to transfers.

And we're back at square one. Let's just keep it there.

In transfer news Everton are after Demba Ba
