Squad is looking very strong. Fabregas will be signing of the year I reckon, Luis is a good buy and Costa will be a gun if he keeps up his Atletico form. Costa's World Cup has turned me off a bit, hopefully it's a sign of things to come. :P

Good get if it's true. Watched him closely in CL and thought he was class. Doesn't look like Zouma is being loaned out again either so that could be a defense of Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Luis, Zouma, Ivanovic. Do you think that is adequate?

I assume you will go Azpilicueta-Cahill-Terry-Luis. Ivanovic will serve as back up for RB and CB and Azpilicueta can go on the left with Ivanovic on the right if Luis is injured.

Sounds pretty good to me. Still wouldn't of loaned out Kalas. I thought he was ready to take that next step.
 
Fabregas will flop, Herrera will be signing of the season :D

The only worry for me is if Terry's body can hold up, at his age things can go down hill pretty quickly. But apart from that I'm very happy with that set up and a CB can be bought in in Jan if needed, though I don't think that will be needed if Zouma hangs around.

Chelsea need another CB in my opinion. If Terry goes down early you're putting a lot on a 19 year old.

Should have been clear. Don't think Cesc will be as good as people are making him out to be. Maybe I have a short memory. I do remember how brilliant he was for Arsenal, but... something in me says that the Chelsea system might not end up working out for him.

Definitely need to either keep Zouma or get in another CB. Also wouldn't mind an extra player to cover full back if Bertrand leaves.

Then just need to sort out our striking options and everything else is a bonus :thumbsu:

If Bertie goes you would think we'd keep PVA around for depth.
 
Well we still don't know what's happening with Omeruo either, he might end up sticking around although it seems like Middlesbrough want him on loan again.

If Terry gets injured, Ivanovic will replace him. Then if Azpi gets injured, Zouma would come in and Iva moves to the right.

Well that's what I don't understand, don't understand why we'd be in for him unless it was in place of Dawson - which I could understand because it looks like we've frozen him out after his ridiculous demands. In which case he'd be starting XI.

Hm okay. If that's the case I'd prefer he plays in the PL, otherwise he has a good relationship built with people at Boro already so I'd be happy for him to go there.

Sounds like his preference is to go there. How good is he? I don't know much about him. I'm just assuming we'll look to play 3 at the back and that he's better than Alex Bruce/Paul McShane. :P
