Good to hear from someone who gets itI am a Collingwood supporter now living in QLD, I fully believe in the academies, I love what it has done for Jnr footy up here and if they didn't exist the Rugby League clubs can offer kids money in the teen years to get them into league programs (I have been told around 5k for a 16-17yr old) so without the academies and a clear pathway some of these talented kids would be lost. Whilst Gold Coast doesn't have a massive supporter base at the moment the amount of Jnr and youth footy players in QLD has grown massively and is looking great. In years to come seeing GC, Bris and Sydney running around with QLD player and NSW players is a great thing.
He could go full Trumper and blame Joe Biden. It’d be very Chris Scott to double down in his presser tonight and claim an afl umpiring conspiracy
In times like these, the last thing needed are cool heads
We love Hardwick too.
He’s a likeable guy.
An Essendon immortal…and a tiger too.
Suns toyed with them like you'd toy with a cat by poking its paw pads. Gonna be a tough ask facing GWS next week.
Quit your whining - we gave you one of ours for freeNeither are ours….. oh that’s right, we don’t get one of those
Cats still had about a dozen premiership players so score should’ve been a lot closer in any case.No Hawkins, Cameron, Dangerfield, Duncan, De Koning, Stanley, playing in conditions they've never played in before, against a team who have a good record in those conditions.
lol - usually a shitfight starts between a couple of Melbourne rival posters like Hawthorn and Geelong or Carlton and Collingwood by page 5, then peters out after about 12 pages.Speaking of highs, don’t think it’s just the scores, can’t remember the last time the Suns game thread got to 36 pages![]()
How are we today Mrs Hardwick?Dimma still has it.
Always thankful for the flags Dimma but the guy completely and utterly changed and destroyed the fabric of the club he built up.Dimma still has it.
Dont stress Scotty just reckons the opposition were up and about, we might get some more wins when teams aren’t so hungry to winIn times like these, the last thing needed are cool heads
Wild and unabated panic is the answer
So S.Hocking, if you want to increase scoring - simply turn the thermostat up to 30 degreesGee that's extremely rare in the modern game - a side scores 100 and loses by 64 points. When was the last game with a higher aggregate score than that?
Great to see the Cats get thrashed but I'm not reading anything into that game, for either side, no one is getting near the Suns in DarwinIn times like these, the last thing needed are cool heads

Nostradamus you are.146 for the winBesides Miller, Rowell, Anderson and Flanders combining for 140 disposals - I think we should be competitive tonight.
CFL will find a way to prop them up again. Its amazing how the cats managed to avoid the cliff that West Coast and now Richmond have fallen off after success but it’s definitely coming.
Hawkins has gone on a year to long, Danger body is cooked. They are really held well together by Stewart and Jezza and when they are out or down on form they really struggle.
The back half outside of Stewart is just average they don’t really have any outstanding players down there and outside of Stengle there ain’t much else in the way of taking a game away from you.
The midfield has some young potential but seen it with a lot of clubs you can have a few of these young players look like they will be great players then it just falls away.
They have so many older players all still playing you would imagine within a couple of years they will lose Stanley Hawkins Danger Duncan Blicavs Kolo Tuohy and no matter what you say or think to prepare when you start losing these players it completely changes the fabric of the club. It’s such a hole to try and cover or repair.
Collingwood and Melbourne are going to face this same issue in the near future also with their list profiles it’s only natural.
Great to see the Cats get thrashed but I'm not reading anything into that game, for either side, no one is getting near the Suns in Darwin
Too early for panic
