If he could turn himself around, properly, between now and Christmas, I believe it would serve a far better example to our kids than boning him.
"The situation, I think, was that they were looking after Alan after your paper slaughtered him last year.Worth plenty.
However, we have the luxury of doing what we please with him. Nobody has us over a barrel.
He will stay.
Given the strong possibility he'll get boned at season end, what sort of trade deal would he realistically be worth?
Straight swap for Kerr

"As a result of that, that's compromised the decision-making process during the day.
"They came to us and told us later (that Didak was in the car). We are going to have a little bit of time to work through things and reconsider the situation.
"We have tried our best to be as honest as we can with everybody with the information that we had in front of us.
"And now that we have new evidence in front of us we will consider that in the cool light of day and make a decision."
Reading between the lines I think Eddie is on the same wavelength.
Difference between worth and realism.
Worth a Kerr but realistically no chance will it happen.
If by some miracle it did happen, how long would it be before Kerr gets kicked out of the club for a misdemeanor?
Unfortunately for the Pies, the circumstances (ie the GC team) are such that I can't see any team parting with a top 10 pick for him and his bagagge. It's definitely a buyers market.

And no, Kerr for Didak is not a fair trade. I think you'd have to sweeten the deal.
Any team within striking distance of a flag will overlook his off field deficiencies and consider his game breaking ability. North for example may be looking for a long term replacement for Shannon Grant. Adelaide have been looking for a goalkicker ever since they sacked Modra. HAwthorn may consider him a better option than Dew. West Coast may be able to get rid of Kerr for a decent price.
etc etc etc.
