Would have made for a decent cliffhanger for last season that episode. Although the flashbacks have been done very well.

Finally watched the latest episode and just wow, awesome episode. Lots of Crowley is always a good thing. Also does anyone else think that Cas has been resurrected as an arc angel? I've never seen him be able to do that with his eyes.
Like this theory a lot.

snooze fest til the last 10 mins. The filler eps have certainly dropped in quality since season 5.

To be fair after 8 seasons I'd imagine it would be very hard to come up with original and good filler eps. Just look at other shows and their filler eps I think Supernatural would be in the top 5 regarding fillers. At least to my memory they haven't done a flashback filler episode with Sam and Dean reminiscing about everything so that's a positive.

Re-visiting the Winchester bloodline, obviously that's going to be big. I've always wondered how they would finish Supernatural. I've imagined it would just be a shot of Sam and Dean driving off down a road, but now I'm considering something else and potentially bigger.
