And so it came to pass that we are awash with great all rounders ! ranked as follows:

1. Starc
2. Cummins
3. Neser
4. Webster
5. Head

I think I’m missing someone, maybe it’ll come to me later.
Head , Neser , Cummins are NOT all rounders , Sobers , Botham , Kallis , Benaud , Imran etc are all rounders , please not so fast

Great , turn it up , he's a really good swing bowler who can bat ! Great is a poorly used term , you probably think Jessie White was a great
Jesse White was a jet.

All jokes aside i rated Jesse really highly. Bloke had to compete with Tippett and Buddy. And what more do you want from an all rounder, really good bowler and a class batsman.

Tricky chase on the cards today. We've buggered these up before, most notably in England in 1981 and v Sth Africa in Sydney in the early 90s. 3-2 would be annoying. 4-1 more indicative of the series I reckon.

Where is the 12th man - cmon Billy entertain us !

Tongue, Head, C-Arse, Root, Cummins and now Brothell. Gotta be a new album coming.

Much better than “Pearce Off Jack Gibbs On”

Humour of 12th man nature isn’t allowed in these “enlightened” times.

Instead, we get those god-awful Westpac ads with cricketers doing cringeworthy unfunny things.

Bethel's stats are interesting. FC batting avg under 30, no FC century until this innings. He also had a season of Sydney grade cricket for an avg in the 20s with no centuries. So as good as he's looked, is this innings just a flash in the pan?

Might be the start of a good career. Signs there of a good temprement in the last match. His underwhelming stats are probably why he hasn't been given a push. Hard to judge with a number of players getting a 150 type score in 1 match. England need something decent at the top or it's collapse city. Carey up to the stumps is the masterstroke of the series for me. Has kept their freedom in check.

I saw an interview with Root where he said he saw Bethell as a 10yo in the WI, and came back to England to tell Yorkshire they had to sign him up as soon as he got to England.

Of our top 7, I'd say Weatherald is gone. Marnus on very shakey ground. Uzzie retired. Given all this, Green most probably survives, more on promise than any recency of form.

Focusing on Marnus, he needs to drop all the twitching, gesturing, over the top behaviour and antagonising the opposition. Steve Smith is irritating enough but he is literally the best bat in recent times so he can do whatever he likes. Marnus just looks like a Smith fan boy with his behaviour and can't back it up with a weight of runs.

Since Mcdonald and Bailey etc have been in charge, Australia's record has been fantastic and this with a very good, but not great side. They should stick this 4-1 result right up the foolish, big mouthed Stewart Clark.
