Once again the AFL mainstream media has dug deep into their highly treasured and inate anti Swans bias and managed to convince themselves that Collingwood had no opponent on the weekend.... a game they managed to lose and heavily too. That should be newsworthy in itself, but a collective nothing to see here has once again confirmed who's really on top of their game this season.

“I think he’s (Heeney) been really explosive from the midfield, can breakaway and then we know he’s got that sort of class to steady and hit targets,” Bolton said.

“He was always going to play midfield minutes without them. Through the pre-season he’d been training and playing as a midfielder. So I think that was always the natural progression.

“He’s a really balanced player and I think that’s why the league has taken wider notice of his midfield play these first two rounds and it gives John Longmire some headaches to think about the team selection over the coming weeks.”
