does our website need some more upgrading,it hasn't changed in over 10 days.
for those who need more swans they could at least give us some training news,injury updates ,weddings,births or anything that would interest fans.
three years ago i rang the club to see if they could at least give us the reserves team,which to their credit they did.
maybe if everybody started ringing to complain they might do it,remember this is now a massive club with over 30,000 members.
it's even harder in melbourne as we get nothing,except on fox sports.

the site seems to have clagged up, and yes, we who live in victoria are getting NOWT about our team...it's almost as if it's part of a vic conspiracy

And it is better to be recieveing no news rather than bad nes eg: injuries preseason.

And the most recent news article about the swans was one about everyone boxing to build a better team relationship and Adam goodes getting fair body blows from Barry Hall.

(little have we heard that Adam has broaken his 3kl time limit record this preseason we have eard nothing about that....

we do not get anything about the swans down here,if you fluke the right time you might get something on fox sports news.
this was not ment to be anything about sydneysiders,we are all part of a great club,but the website is crap.

But what more do you think we get up here? We all have exactly the same access to exactly the same information on the internet. I am not disputing that there has been a lack of news. I am just bewildered that you think that you are worse off being in Melbourne. What exactly do you think Sydneysiders get to here / read that you don't in Melbourne?

we are getting off the subject,this is about a lack of updates on our website.
there should be something new everyday with the first game just around the corner.
i suppose when you live in melbourne you get saturation coverage of afl and it gets very frustrating when we get nothing about the swans.obviously you don't get anything there as well,thats why we need a decent website.

Yeah, I want to whinge too....is there a media black-out?! The last story I saw was with pictures of the boys boxing and it was in the SMH, not the Tele... 'the official swans newspaper' ....whats going on?

come off it, i wasn't serious
but certainly, vic media (not counting internet) has almost nothing on the swans, and little on most interstate teams....
the last story i recall seeing in vic print media on sydney was on jake orreal's signing.....maybe there's been one since then, but if so i must've missed it

Can't remember the last time I looked at print media. I pretty much rely on internet coverage, given that the Herald Sun and Age (Real Footy) are far more extensive than the SMH or Daily Mirror. But even the two Sydney papers I look at online rather than in print.

No arguments there. It is pretty ordinary that over two months after the National Draft and a month and a half after the rookie draft, there are no pictures or even mini-profiles up on the three taken in the ND and not even the names of the rookies. Can it be that hard to line them up for a photo and add their names to the list of players? I know that what we'd get with a mini-profile wouldn't be worth much but their failure to do even that stinks off a "couldn't give a xxxx" attitude towards the website.

This happens every year. There is alway a lul over a 2 or 3 week period where we get absolutley nothing. Up until a few days ago the AFL website was getting nothing new posted either.

Ill go one further, the swans web page is garbage. I generally go to other news sorces first.
Besides im over not being able open up all the files on that and the official AFL page, no matter how many times ive installed flash..

I dont know if they have a backup maybe they do, it may be that there wasnt anything worthwhile to report. However, the person who runs it, was away up until the beginning of last week - as I said previously - there wasnt really anything that we didnt already know and it is the off season afterall. this a multi million dollar club,it should be better.
what about reports on people behind the scenes,for example our new fitness guru,we had one of the best who has nowgone to the scum.i think his name is rob spurs?what about something on his background,it wouldn't be hard.

The world wouldn't stop if the entire season was called off; that's not really the point. I think he had the continental but there are rumours about a full cooked.
