I enjoyed the game. Plenty of skill as well as errors. Both teams have some very good players and should do well in the season proper.

 

[Mr Ripper]

A couple of highlights, but overall I thought there was fairly compelling evidence to start giving some thought to Grendel's (I think it was Grendel's) idea about dropping the on-field numbers back to 16; for the Ansett Cup anyway. Very untidy affair.
