Sydney exodus?

Just heard Andrew Maher on before the game saying strong rumor that Barry Hall and Ryan OKeefe want to leave the club and Hall has nominated the Bulldogs as his prefered choice and that Okeefe wisheds to come back to Melbourne.
Is our Window open enough to chase Okeefe, can play Mid but is really a HFF, but none the less an absolute gun.
We really need pure mids but IMO you can never have enough super players doesnt matter where they play.
Do we chase him, Thoughts?

I hope we don't chase him. Quality player and all, but what would we have to give up for a player who excels in a position that we already have plenty of depth (not just depth, quality too).

i hope we do. Terrific hard ball winner. depends on the price though as he is 27 and i think you would be better trying to trade for players than give up a Blease etc

He'll stay. He wouldn't make us better. Another lead up forward, don't need him. He doesn't kick goals any more and doesn't run through the 50m arc, which is what we need!

More an issue of team cost to need reggie (although a definite statement of not making us better is OTT).

Rhino is a gut-busting gun, but we have Reid, Jack, Rusling?, Didak?, Medhurst and even Dawes until Rocca is totally spent providing leading "third" forward options. There's only so many you can have.

Dunno how good Rhino is on the ball. Maybe you could give Medhurst a run there.

By my reckonng, he'd be a part of a Didak deal, otherwise blowing top picks on him with our dearth of clearance midfielders would be gross negligence. That is not a slight in his ability.

Hall was probably going the second time he got pinged hitting Wakes.

Sydney wanted to do the deal but we wanted to hang on to bitchslap.

He is only 27. He would be great. Straight swap for Didak would be fair and good for us.

Are you f***en nuts?? that is the most ridiculous idea I've heard for a Didak trade, Didak is so much better than O'Keefe and is 2 years younger.Glad you're not managing our List/Trades this season...

Fair enough but I did expect at least 4-5 players to make an "exodus"...lol

To be honest the Swans have nothing I would be interested in, with the possible exception of Jolly for a year or two.

Hall would be like importing the clap to our club....
