:thumbsu:We all know col has the ability but for too long now hasnt put enough games together...i think it pretty obvious but he really lacks the mental application needed to succeed at AFL level.

nevertheless...

Taylor Walker for Colin Syliva + our first round pick (looking like one of our compensation picks from the tom scully trade to GWS)

This is in motion...believe it!

Would be kind of happy with that... if it wasn't obviously BS

Walker is well known as a bit of a ****wit and not being committed to footy.

I'm undecided.

As if Walker is worth Sylvia and a first round pick.

are you beedee

Why in gods name would we trade an established inconsistent player for unestablished inconsistent player. Let alone throw a first round draft pick in for extra LOL's.

If Scully goes and we get compo picks then by all means trade one of them or our current first round selection for him other wise no deal.

More likely scenario in my biased opinion is Col + our 1st round for Walker + there 1st rounder.

Colin Sylvia is the last player the Crows need - they have more than enough of his type. Sylvia won't go, he'll resign with the club.

Really hope Col stays, he's so important to our team. If he was to go to Adel I'd want Vince.

From a creditable source hey?

Here's my take on the probable sauce of this trade.

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Colin pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

I will only be content with him leaving if we get an experienced player in return. I dont want to lose him for just another draft pick.

first Walker was a certainty to go to GWS - not happening
secondly Walker has been linked to Sydney - not happening
now linked to Melbourne - not happening

Walker is definitely staying with the Crows - BOOKMARK IT

my source is very very creditable, the only reason Walker hasn't signed with the Crows as yet is because his manager was waiting for the TV rights and the EBA between the AFL and AFLPA to be finalised

Walker loves the club, he could have joined either Syd or Collingwood as a NSW scholarship player however he himself sounded out the Crows
as he was a passionate Crows supporter and wanted to play for the club that he supported all his life.

As long as the Crows put their best foot forward in terms of a new contract then Tex will definitely be re-signing with the AFC

oh so your sauce is MORE creditable? Well it's said and done then!

TBH i really don't understand why people carry on with this bollocks. Not directed at you personally at all but if your sauce is more creditable than the OP's I'll go with you then...

the proof will be in the pudding

if you read the Adelaide board it has been going through hysterics all season feaing that Tex will leave, this was largely based on the following:
1. Tex holding off contract talks to the end of year
2. media declaring Tex had signed with GWS 6 months ago
3. Tex being dropped and questioning his relationship with Neil Craig

however all year I have stuck to my guns (based on the information from my source) and said that as long as the AFC put their best foot forward Tex will re-sign with the club, and I am extremely confident that this will be the case.....

Like your player in Moloney, Tex has a real passion to play for the club that he grew up supporting and this is rare in today's footy, the only way Tex will walk is if the AFC did not want him or if the offer was unfair or unreasnable

I did not mean to be smart, your club may well be interested however I'm just calling it as it is

Are you out of your mind? Walker is weak as piss, a poor man's McKinley.

Everyone one knows he has an attitude problem. DO NOT WANT! What number would be your first rnd pick? Throw in McKernan and an extra\or swap draft picks then that personally would get me interested. I don't think Sylvia is worth a top 10 pick. I would prefer him to go to GWS for obvious reasons.

Can we not call people such things even through the use of acronyms.
You can understand the reaction though. Not even Dean Laidley would be that stupid, and this is a guy that actually went out and traded for Sam Power.

Am I the only person who would jump at this trade?

Taylor Walker is ridiculously talented, if you got him to work hard he'd be a great option at FF for the next 10 years.
