I'm gonna try and knock this out a few years after making this thread. I've got a site up at https://bblkits.weebly.com/ and you'll see what I'm going for with the designs, I'll eventually get the template out once I clean it up and make it a bit more easy to use.

Illustrator is better.

You can use paint to make designs then recreate in illustrator.

I was thinking about it although now I'm not really sure. Either hats or helmets. Or better still, have folders for each team and in each team is a few folders. One for shirts, another for pants etc. It could work.

shirts and pants should go in the one template.

• helmet on top, caps can go on the side because of the different home/ away
• home cap on top and helmet/ away on the side.
• no helmet, home cap on top away to the side
• no helmet, both caps on the side
• all helmet, home, away on the side

i'd say no helmet would be the best option because it's literally the clubs colour with the logo on the front
