Obviously their overseas players are gonna be announced too. Still have no idea if the likes of Copper and Darren Pattinson are counted as overseas players. Pattinson could def. be one of those signings. Roach or Bravo I guess. And McKay hasn't signed up yet I don't think.

Last 5 Homebush players coming out tomorrow. The BigBash site has finally had a update too, meaning the OP will get a update. The SCG team have got Cummins, Lee & Hazlewood to go with Smith, Henriques & Strac. Still a bit short on batsmen. They're yet to sign a non-NSW contracted player outside of Eddie Cowan...who of course was a NSW contracted player for years. Meanwhile the Homebush team have picked up Butterworth, Ben Dunk & Craig Philipson from other states + Coyte and Dan Smith who lost their contracts in recent days...looking they may well have about 5 NSW contracted players on their roaster.

Shipperd on radio said they were looking at possibly juggling their 2 international players on availability so it doesn't necessarily have to be a pak/wi.

One of the Melb. teams was looking @ dan the man iirc

The dates of New Zealand's T20 comp are set to come out this week:

No idea about Banga's comp. Still hopeful Shakib & Tamim could end up here. Didn't realise Zimbabwe doesn't really clash at all. Ray Price still a chance. Sri Lanka - South Africa a total clash.

So Southee a chance to start off with too...(Southee 2 Pattinson)

Dan the Man replaced by Shakib a good plan but really if no-one gives Shakib a go for the whole comp they can all die.

That's the sort of player Arthur should have gone for instead of the old dudes. He's a very good bowler and spin bowling was a massive part of the Redbacks winning campaign last year.

Got my morning recruiting update from FB this AM:

Dan Vettori for the Heat:)

Tidy pick-up indeed. Gives them two slow bowlers which seems to be almost the recipe these days.

Brisbane list to date is:
Ryan Broad
Nick Buchanan
Daniel Christian
Ben Cutting
Peter Forrest
Ryan Harris
Nathan Hauritz
James Hopes
Chris Lynn
Brendon McCullum (international)
Michael Neser
Daniel Vettori (international)

Might be light on a fast bowler and another 'keeper, depending on how many games they have McCullum for.

Still a few spots to fill though - only one that hasn't come up was the rumour about Matty Hayden:( Probably too busy but it was fun to speculate over at the time.

Sydney Thunder complete their list with host of young guns: Sean Abbott, Matt Day, Nic Bills, Luke Doran and Tim Cruickshank.

Full Thunder list is: Sean Abbott, Tim Armstrong, Nic Bills, Doug Bollinger, Luke Butterworth, Scott Coyte, Tim Cruickshank, Matthew Day, Luke Doran, Ben Dunk, Jason Floros, Phillip Hughes, Usman Khawaja, Craig Philipson, Daniel Smith, David Warner. Internationals: Fidel Edwards, Chris Gayle.

Sydney Sixers unveil Shane Watson as well.:)

They're the only team not to have an international player signed up yet.

Surprised to sign 2 Kiwi's in light of Phone's post above.

[strike]Qld[/strike] Brisbane team looks pretty weak on paper.

if mccullum is just playing as a batsman it's understandable i guess. easy enough to replace him with another international player, but keeper? i can only think of steve davies to be a replacement

hopefully hayden returns, brisbane really lacking star power.

Adelaide still has a spot free too because seemingly Cooper's not gonna be called a overseas player, thankfully. Looking at that team Roach is a fairly obvious fit if he wants to go there

Last night's signings have made me think perhaps Bravo and the Stars won't happen. Bravo and Wright would be an absurd pair of signings if that were to happen. And just looking at their roaster Bravo isn't needed that much. Perhaps the Sixers might strike.
