Swan has proved almost untaggable.
Didak has shown he is susceptible but hit back against the Midget.
Pendlebury did a lot better this year but not a Swanny's level yet.

Out of those three.

I woud've thought it would have to be Simon Prestigiacomo... Teams can't let him run riot in the back half collecting 3 + possessions per game. He will murder oppositions if he does. For mine, definitely Presti!

Thinking about this a bit more, our high rotations make it difficult for opposition teams to tag one player. In both the logistics of taggers having to pick up a player as they come off the bench (or go to and come off the bench at the same time), and for the fact that it means our players are playing in 100% bursts rather than having to run off taggers with superior fitness.

It is probably more likely that Heath Shaw get 'tagged' on the half back line and go head to head in the middle.

Good point, but if they go to Presti, then Leroy's free.

Might Luke Ball be a tag option aswell?

If only one was tagged, possibly Didak, for the reason, as you imply, he handles it least well so far. He may also have the ability to break the game open, in less time, more than the others?

I'd go with Pendlebury because of the hurt factor on his disposal. But if Didak is having a few hot weeks like mid 2009, then he will likely get the no.1 tag.

Swan is untaggable, power runner and tags don't effect him much. If tagged 30 disposals, if not 40.

If Pendlebury tagged 20 disposals, if not tagged 30.

With Pendlebury's high hurt factor teams should be looking to take him out of games and pressure high heavily so that he doesn't have as much time with the ball as it always seems that he has.

Pendlebury.

Agreed. Anyone that says Swan obviously didn't watch football last year, and the year before. He is almost untaggable, and his disposal and style of play isn't as damaging as that of Scott Pendlebury, or Alan Didak when playing as a quarterback-style midfielder.

Didak and Davis appear to be the two blokes oppo teams can put a hard tag on, and really reduce influence.

Swan, Pendles are more accumulating types who will rack em up anyway.

This.
The hope is that the pure depth of having rotations with quality at all times (a bit like Geelong has with Chapman/S Johnson/Kelly all capable) it won't matter. This means that we need to get premium midfield capacity and drive out of players such as O'Bree, Thomas, Beams, Sidebottom, Johnson, Wellingham and McCarthy. Maxwell and H Shaw need to take their turn in the rotation as well.

If Davis or Didak are tagged I can see both playing a quarter as a leading forward one out in the forward 50. Both would be highly dangerous in that sort of role. It would take a good opponent to be able to match these two for pace and nous.
