Here's 3 of my thoughts;
Adelaide will go for a midfielder with their first pick, that I know is certain.

The dogs have pick #17 btw, and Freo have #16.

You obviously don't rate Toby Greene that much?

Other than that, pretty good.

Manson looks like giving the AFL a miss and Dobosz will go before pick 32.

Not a bad effort

Port will pick Tyson before Grigg even though he is a SA boy, Wingard will go #3 or #4 depending on if GWS wants Longer I feel

GWS should be safe with Longer at #5 as GC wont pick a ruckman(as they have good ruck stocks).

Read the article on Manson this afternoon.....this kid could be a freak - if he wants to!

Dangerzone - i feel with losing Bock and Davis in the last two years you will need another good tall backman. B.Rutten is the leader in the backline and D.Talia will be a good player but you need a couple of back up options. McIness would be a good fit. Can play 3rd tall.
Adelaide will have a good young mid next year with Dangerfield going in there. Sloane, Vince, Mackay, Douglas with Reilly, Doughty and van Berlo leading the crew in there.
Adelaide wont be to far away next year if they can keep all players fit.

Toby Greene i think will be this years slider- there seem to be alot of Greene likes in this draft. . Like Atley last year, that doesnt mean he wont be a good player.

Who is Valentine? Never even heard of him. What position does he play, how old, where is he from, what kind of player is he?

Not a bad effort

"Manson, 18, kicked 14 goals in two colts and one reserves matches for the Tigers last month before returning to his community at Kururrungku, about 180km south of Halls Creek.
Despite erroneous media reports that he had turned his back on football, the 195cm Manson nominated for the draft before returning home.
He will now attend the combine after the AFL clubs confirmed their interest this week."

Cameron Valentine (VIC – Fwd)
Height: 191cm, Weight: 83kg, DOB: 02/11/1993
Recruited from: Bendigo Pioneers
Style:
Player comparison: Jeremy Howe
Range: 35-rookie
Profile: Young forward who has missed some time through illness. Has even played some ruck and competed well but won’t at next level. Strong marking forward with an incredibly good leap and can take some absolute hangers. Very draftable.

Talltimber..No crows will be going for midfielders. We have gone for tall back men in the last two drafts before the previous draft. You have stated a few of our midfielders there but they are not elite. Dangerfield has talent, Vince and Mackay are probably the best out of our mids. Doughty is not really a mid and is a tagger/HBF. We desperately need to inject talent into our midfield and despite our losses of Bock and we are not using another top draft pick on another tall defender. We knew that quality talls in the draftwould be pillaged by GC and GWS and we planned accordingly. It so happened that we also got pillaged ourselves. Our lack of quality mids is holding us back and more tall backmen is not going to help and a need of tall defenders is not seen as a priority

Cheers for that. In that case don't need him. Essendon have more than enough talls. Got steinberg last year as 3rd tall and crameri has come on in a big way. Also have Joe Daniher under the father son rule in 2012 draft who will be like a tippet who is tall enough to ruck but be played predominately as a forward. Essendon need classy outside mids, one good forward crumber and a small defender who can lock away little forwards.

I agree with alot of that at this point.

Top 9 in particular are my thoughts exactly.

Never done one of these before, so we will see how i go.

Round 1 and Round 2 of 2011 Draft.

24. HAW – Daniel Markworth

Interesting pick for the Hawks TTB.
Can you tell me a bit about Markworth? From Macedon/Calder Cannons right?

Markworth is a lead up forward, but think he could play on the wing as well. he would be a good third tall and tall mid who can take a mark. havent seen alot of him but what i have seen is good.
The other two i thought about at this pick was Sam Kerridge - tough little on-baller but came to the conclusion we have a good mid stock and Nic Haynes - very similar to Markworth but thought Markworth was a better prospect.

Daniel Markworth: Overager with nice positional flexibility. High character. Comes from a tennis and basketball background. Has played as leadup forward as well as a midfielder and brings really nice versatility. Very high athlete with a super burst of pace. Not bad by foot and has a good 55m kick on him. Good ball user by both hand and foot. Makes good decisions with the footy. New to AFL but showing some big progress! Looks very draftable. Still learning the game. Project. But has made big progress! Just keeps getting better with every game he plays and there seems to be allot of upside.
