Although Cooney had a very bad game by his standards yesterday, 36 disposals and 5 clearances on Clint Jones is still a fair return whereas Sylvia has been OWNED by Rawlings (very good tagger but not on Clit Jones level).

Tambling 100 games, 59 goals, average 15.0 disposals.
Sylvia 90 games, 72 goals, average 15.2 disposals.

Each has improved his numbers every year of his career. Sylvia is in front and is a dynamic player but Tambling gets a bad rap. He has improved every year and was very good last year. This year he was hampered by compartment syndrome requiring surgery on both legs pre-season. It's still hampering him and I bet it was related to him doing his hamstring against the Dockers.

It's not Tambling's fault he was chosen ahead of Franklin and the pathetic sniping of him by some people is sickening. It's a shame he hasn't been able to follow up last year's form because it might have shut a few keyboard heroes up. Hopefully RFC doesn't play him again until he's physically right.
