Fremantle will unveil their prized off-season recruit, Des Headland, in the first round of the Wizard Home Loans Cup clash against
West Coast at Subiaco on Friday night.
The former Brisbane premiership forward was best afield in the ATSIC All-Stars match a fortnight ago in Darwin and his debut for Freo is highly anticipated.
Fremantle will be missing several defenders including Antoni Grover (leg soreness), Steven Koops (shoulder), Luke McPharlin (hamstring), Shane Parker (leg soreness), Andrew Siegert (knee) and Anthony Jones (hamstring).
However, they will unveil 211cm ruckman Aaron Sandilands, who will become the tallest player to play in an official AFL match.
