For me only the one change Bannister out Mclaren in. No one else performed well enough in the ants to promote. Keep the same side to finish the season, heard stevens will not play also russell out injured. Maybe promote a young guy and give him 20 minutes on the ground like smith, LOL. Surely smith will not be dropped after limited game time. Play him for most of the game and tell him to enjoy the experience what do you guys think.

McLaren has done exactly what he needs to do - go to the reserves and dominate. You can't ask any more of a dropped player, other than to step it up in the seniors if and when he gets a chance. Deserves to play this week. Don;t think Edwards has done enough and senior spots shouldn't be cheapened by neing handed out because you are next in line.
This sends the wrong message "just wait and you'll get a chance" instead of "earn your chance by working your ass off to force the selectors to pick you, then work twice as hard to force them to keep you.
Youth policy is great but they need to value what they get along the way.

Bryan to come in and take Hall - hopefully knock his block off too!

Bryan on Hall???

We would definatley be accused of tanking!

Speed, strength......I'll stop.

LOL - It was more tongue in cheek than anything - just highlighting the point that we have NO ONE to take the big muppet.

Sorry, missed that one. Maybe if we let him run around on his own he'll get tired and have to stop. Did'nt seem to work with Richo, but hey, second times a charm.

Play Whitnall forward.

Whitnall is a great asset to us down back and can really help us down there but seeing him go forward last week he took a few good grabs and if we wanted to win this we could just go full attack by putting him up forward. Then again Fev might get as many goals so it works either way

The only problem I have with Mclaren is that he's very small for a ruckman (only 194cm) and that he isn't worth a spot on the team in any other position. I think Bryan is a much better player.

Hopefully HALL is out with the broken hand - that will relieve a lot of pressure :)

Not sure where you got that one from Tex, I knew he had a sore back but should come up, but Roberts-Thompson and Ablett due back for a run this week.

exactly right players need to earn their spot, no one should get a free ride.
