There is always 1 emergency who does not play for Bendigo when both seniors and reserves are playing the same day. Has always been like this under Knights as far I can remember.

As pointed out, knowing him personally has nothing to do with assessing him as a footballer, especially his skills.

I was being facetious, though with some truth in it. For somebody whose skills were so talked up, he sure does shank a lot of kicks. More than our so-called worst kicking midfielders in Watson and Stanton.

A player's heart can also be determined from watching them play; I'm talking about their spirit as a player, not a person.

I don't know him, though I have met him, but I don't need to in order to make my comments.

haha. Alright fair enough, i'm a close mate and got defensive, just seems even when he doesn't play people wanted to stick the boots into him. Don't think anyone really knows a blokes 'spirit' though. He does have good skills, personally (my opinion only, no reflection of anything he has said) i think the way his selection and dropping this year has been handeld has effected his confidence on the field and in turn his kicking. if your honest, must be confusing getting feedback that you had a good game, then being dropped. i know there will be many that disagree but he wasn't shocking against the swans or the crows and got dropped after both games, whilst others retained their spots.

think a bit of support would be good instead of calling a guy heartless and skilless, when its pretty far off the mark.

anyway everyones got their opinions so fair enough.

ill turn my next post's attention towards the game on saturday

Some of the selections have made just about every supporter scratch their heads, no doubt.

FWIW I thought he was our best against the Hawks, which was the last game I saw before he got dropped.
